महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-94, verse-9

तथैव शक्रप्रतिमोऽपि सात्यकिः सुदर्शने यान्क्षिपति स्म सायकान् ।
द्विधा त्रिधा तानकरोत्सुदर्शनः शरोत्तमैः स्यन्दनवर्यमास्थितः ॥९॥
9. tathaiva śakrapratimo'pi sātyakiḥ; sudarśane yānkṣipati sma sāyakān ,
dvidhā tridhā tānakarotsudarśanaḥ; śarottamaiḥ syandanavaryamāsthitaḥ.
9. tathā eva śakra-pratimaḥ api sātyakiḥ
sudarśane yān kṣipati sma sāyakān
dvidhā tridhā tān akarot sudarśanaḥ
śara-uttamaiḥ syandana-varyam āsthitaḥ
9. śakra-pratimaḥ api sātyakiḥ sudarśane yān sāyakān tathā eva kṣipati sma,
(tān) sudarśanaḥ syandana-varyam āsthitaḥ śara-uttamaiḥ dvidhā tridhā akarot.
9. Even Sātyaki, who was like Indra, was similarly shooting arrows at Sudarśana. But Sudarśana, situated on his excellent chariot, countered those arrows, splitting them into two or three pieces with his own excellent shafts.
