महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-94, verse-4

तं यान्तमश्वैः शशिशङ्खवर्णैर्विगाह्य सैन्यं पुरुषप्रवीरम् ।
नाशक्नुवन्वारयितुं समन्तादादित्यरश्मिप्रतिमं नराग्र्यम् ॥४॥
4. taṁ yāntamaśvaiḥ śaśiśaṅkhavarṇai;rvigāhya sainyaṁ puruṣapravīram ,
nāśaknuvanvārayituṁ samantā;dādityaraśmipratimaṁ narāgryam.

4. śatravāḥ aśvaiḥ śaśiśaṅkhavarṇaiḥ sainyam vigāhya yāntam tam puruṣapravīram ādityaraśmipratimam narāgryam samantāt vārayitum na aśaknuvan.
4. They (the enemies) were unable to stop from all sides that foremost of men (narāgrya), that chief among men (puruṣapravīra), who, with horses the color of the moon and conch shell, was penetrating the army and going forward, shining like the rays of the sun.
