महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-94, verse-11

पुनः स बाणैस्त्रिभिरग्निकल्पैराकर्णपूर्णैर्निशितैः सुपुङ्खैः ।
विव्याध देहावरणं विभिद्य ते सात्यकेराविविशुः शरीरम् ॥११॥
11. punaḥ sa bāṇaistribhiragnikalpai;rākarṇapūrṇairniśitaiḥ supuṅkhaiḥ ,
vivyādha dehāvaraṇaṁ vibhidya; te sātyakerāviviśuḥ śarīram.
11. punaḥ sa bāṇaiḥ tribhiḥ agni-kalpaiḥ
ākarṇa-pūrṇaiḥ niśitaiḥ
su-puṅkhaiḥ vivyādha deha-āvaraṇam
vi-bhidya te sātyakeḥ ā-viviśuḥ śarīram
11. punaḥ sa agni-kalpaiḥ,
ākarṇa-pūrṇaiḥ,

su-puṅkhaiḥ tribhiḥ bāṇaiḥ (sātyakim) vivyādha.
deha-āvaraṇam vi-bhidya te (bāṇāḥ) sātyakeḥ śarīram ā-viviśuḥ.
11. Then, with three fiery arrows, which were drawn up to the ear, keen, and well-feathered, he (Sudarśana) pierced (Sātyaki). Having penetrated his body armor, those arrows entered Sātyaki's body.
