तस्य विव्याध बलवाञ्शरैरश्वानजिह्मगैः ।
वातायमानैरथ तैरश्वैरपहृतो रणात् ॥६॥

6. The powerful one (Vṛṣasena) struck his (Abhimanyu's) horses with unerring arrows. Subsequently, by those horses, which behaved like the wind (in their uncontrolled flight), he (Abhimanyu) was carried away from the battle.
