महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-63, verse-9

ऋषींश्चैव हि गोविन्दस्तपश्चैवानु कल्पयत् ।
स्रष्टारं जगतश्चापि महात्मा प्रभुरव्ययः ॥९॥
9. ṛṣīṁścaiva hi govindastapaścaivānu kalpayat ,
sraṣṭāraṁ jagataścāpi mahātmā prabhuravyayaḥ.
9. ṛṣīn ca eva hi govindaḥ tapaḥ ca eva anu kalpayat
sraṣṭāraṃ jagataḥ ca api mahātmā prabhuḥ avyayaḥ
9. govindaḥ mahātmā prabhuḥ avyayaḥ hi ṛṣīn ca eva
tapaḥ ca eva anu sraṣṭāraṃ jagataḥ ca api kalpayat
9. Govinda, the great soul (mahātman), the imperishable (avyaya) Lord, indeed created the sages and also asceticism (tapas) subsequently, and also the creator of the world (Brahma).
