महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-63, verse-6

एष लोकान्ससर्जादौ देवांश्चर्षिगणैः सह ।
निधनं चैव मृत्युं च प्रजानां प्रभवोऽव्ययः ॥६॥
6. eṣa lokānsasarjādau devāṁścarṣigaṇaiḥ saha ,
nidhanaṁ caiva mṛtyuṁ ca prajānāṁ prabhavo'vyayaḥ.

nidhanaṃ ca eva mṛtyuṃ ca prajānāṃ prabhavaḥ avyayaḥ

ṛṣigaṇaiḥ saha sasarja nidhanaṃ ca eva mṛtyuṃ ca
6. In the beginning, He, the imperishable origin (prabhava) of all beings, created the worlds, the gods, and the groups of sages. He also created destruction and death for these creatures.
