महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-63, verse-10

अग्रजं सर्वभूतानां संकर्षणमकल्पयत् ।
शेषं चाकल्पयद्देवमनन्तमिति यं विदुः ॥१०॥
10. agrajaṁ sarvabhūtānāṁ saṁkarṣaṇamakalpayat ,
śeṣaṁ cākalpayaddevamanantamiti yaṁ viduḥ.
10. agrajam sarvabhūtānām saṃkarṣaṇam akalpayat
śeṣam ca akalpayat devam anantam iti yam viduḥ
10. saṃkarṣaṇam sarvabhūtānām agrajam akalpayat ca
yam anantam devam iti viduḥ śeṣam akalpayat
10. He created Saṃkarṣaṇa, the eldest of all beings. And he also created Śeṣa, whom they know as the divine Ananta.
