महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-77, verse-8

स हि त्यागेन राज्यस्य न शमं समुपेष्यति ।
अन्तरेण वधात्पार्थ सानुबन्धः सुयोधनः ॥८॥
8. sa hi tyāgena rājyasya na śamaṁ samupeṣyati ,
antareṇa vadhātpārtha sānubandhaḥ suyodhanaḥ.

antareṇa vadhāt pārtha sānubandhaḥ suyodhanaḥ
8. Indeed, he will not attain peace (śama) by renouncing the kingdom. O Pārtha, Suyodhana, along with his associates (sānubandha), (will be subdued) only through death.
