महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-61, verse-12

कर्ण उवाच ।
असंशयं वृष्णिपतिर्यथोक्तस्तथा च भूयश्च ततो महात्मा ।
अहं यदुक्तः परुषं तु किंचित्पितामहस्तस्य फलं शृणोतु ॥१२॥
12. karṇa uvāca ,
asaṁśayaṁ vṛṣṇipatiryathokta;stathā ca bhūyaśca tato mahātmā ,
ahaṁ yaduktaḥ paruṣaṁ tu kiṁci;tpitāmahastasya phalaṁ śṛṇotu.

yathoktaḥ tathā ca bhūyaḥ ca tataḥ
mahātmā | aham yat uktaḥ paruṣam tu
kiñcit pitāmahaḥ tasya phalam śṛṇotu
12. Karṇa said: "Without a doubt, the lord of the Vṛṣṇis (Krishna) is as described, and furthermore, he is even more great-souled than that. As for the somewhat harsh words I have spoken, may the grandsire (Bhīṣma) hear their consequence."
