महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-189, verse-6

निवर्तस्व महीपाल नैतज्जात्वन्यथा भवेत् ।
स तु गत्वा च नगरं भार्यामिदमुवाच ह ॥६॥

6. "O king (mahīpāla), turn back! This will never be otherwise." But he, having gone to the city, then spoke this to his wife.
