महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-188, verse-8

छन्द्यमाना वरेणाथ सा वव्रे मत्पराजयम् ।
वधिष्यसीति तां देवः प्रत्युवाच मनस्विनीम् ॥८॥
8. chandyamānā vareṇātha sā vavre matparājayam ,
vadhiṣyasīti tāṁ devaḥ pratyuvāca manasvinīm.

8. Then, being offered a boon, she requested the defeat of her adversary. The god replied to that resolute woman, "You will kill (him)."
