यथा स सत्यो भवति तथा कुरु वृषध्वज ।
यथा हन्यां समागम्य भीष्मं शांतनवं युधि ॥१०॥

10. pratiśrutaśca bhūteśa tvayā bhīṣmaparājayaḥ ,
yathā sa satyo bhavati tathā kuru vṛṣadhvaja ,
yathā hanyāṁ samāgamya bhīṣmaṁ śāṁtanavaṁ yudhi.

And, O lord of beings (Bhūteśa), Bhishma's defeat has been promised by you. O bull-bannered one (Vṛṣadhvaja), please act so that this becomes true, so that I may, after encountering him, kill Bhishma, the son of Śantanu, in battle (yudhi).
