महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-99, verse-16

सर्वे च देवा मुदिताः प्रहृष्टा महर्षयश्चेन्द्रमभिष्टुवन्तः ।
सर्वांश्च दैत्यांस्त्वरिताः समेत्य जघ्नुः सुरा वृत्रवधाभितप्तान् ॥१६॥
16. sarve ca devā muditāḥ prahṛṣṭā; maharṣayaścendramabhiṣṭuvantaḥ ,
sarvāṁśca daityāṁstvaritāḥ sametya; jaghnuḥ surā vṛtravadhābhitaptān.

16. All the gods, delighted and overjoyed, along with the great sages, praised Indra. Then, the gods, quickly assembling, slew all the demons who were tormented by the slaying of Vṛtra.
