महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-99, verse-1

लोमश उवाच ।
ततः स वज्री बलिभिर्दैवतैरभिरक्षितः ।
आससाद ततो वृत्रं स्थितमावृत्य रोदसी ॥१॥

1. lomaśa uvāca ,
tataḥ sa vajrī balibhirdaivatairabhirakṣitaḥ ,
āsasāda tato vṛtraṁ sthitamāvṛtya rodasī.

1. Lomaśa said: Then, that wielder of the thunderbolt (Indra), protected by powerful deities, approached Vṛtra, who stood there encompassing both heaven and earth.

1. לוֹמַשַׁה אמר, אחר כך הגיע נושא הוַג׳ְרַה (אִינְדְרַה), מוגן על ידי האלים החזקים, אל וְרְטְרַה, שעמד וכיסה את שני העולמות, השמים והארץ.
