सरस्वत्याः परे पारे नानाद्रुमलतावृतम् ।
षट्पदोद्गीतनिनदैर्विघुष्टं सामगैरिव ।
पुंस्कोकिलरवोन्मिश्रं जीवंजीवकनादितम् ॥१३॥
13. sarasvatyāḥ pare pāre nānādrumalatāvṛtam ,
ṣaṭpadodgītaninadairvighuṣṭaṁ sāmagairiva ,
puṁskokilaravonmiśraṁ jīvaṁjīvakanāditam.

13. On the farther bank of the Sarasvati, it was covered with various trees and creepers. It resounded with the humming sounds of bees, as if chanted by Sāman singers, and was mingled with the calls of male cuckoos and the chirping of jīvaṃjīvaka birds.
