महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-89, verse-18

तपसा तु त्वमात्मानं भ्रातृभिः सह योजय ।
तपसो हि परं नास्ति तपसा विन्दते महत् ॥१८॥

18. But you, along with your brothers, should devote yourselves to asceticism (tapas). Indeed, there is nothing superior to asceticism (tapas), and through it, one achieves greatness.
