गच्छाव यज्ञं जनकस्य राज्ञो बह्वाश्चर्यः श्रूयते तस्य यज्ञः ।
श्रोष्यावोऽत्र ब्राह्मणानां विवादमन्नं चाग्र्यं तत्र भोक्ष्यावहे च ।
विचक्षणत्वं च भविष्यते नौ शिवश्च सौम्यश्च हि ब्रह्मघोषः ॥१९॥

19. gacchāva yajñaṁ janakasya rājño; bahvāścaryaḥ śrūyate tasya yajñaḥ ,
śroṣyāvo'tra brāhmaṇānāṁ vivāda;mannaṁ cāgryaṁ tatra bhokṣyāvahe ca ,
vicakṣaṇatvaṁ ca bhaviṣyate nau; śivaśca saumyaśca hi brahmaghoṣaḥ.

19. gacchāva yajñam janakasya rājñaḥ bahvāścaryaḥ śrūyate
tasya yajñaḥ śroṣyāvaḥ atra brāhmaṇānām vivādam
annam ca agryam tatra bhokṣyāvahe ca vicakṣaṇatvam
ca bhaviṣyate nau śivaḥ ca saumyaḥ ca hi brahmaghoṣaḥ

19. "Let us both go to the ritual (yajña) of King Janaka; his ritual (yajña) is renowned for many wonders. There, we shall both listen to the discussions of the Brahmins and also partake of excellent food. And sagacity will come to us, for the chanting of the Vedas (brahmaghoṣa) is indeed auspicious and gentle."
