महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-132, verse-17

यत्तेनोक्तं दुरुक्तं तत्तदानीं हृदि स्थितं तस्य सुदुःखमासीत् ।
गृहं गत्वा मातरं रोदमानः पप्रच्छेदं क्व नु तातो ममेति ॥१७॥

17. yattenoktaṁ duruktaṁ tattadānīṁ; hṛdi sthitaṁ tasya suduḥkhamāsīt ,
gṛhaṁ gatvā mātaraṁ rodamānaḥ; papracchedaṁ kva nu tāto mameti.

17. yat tena uktam duruktam tat tadānīm
hṛdi sthitam tasya suduḥkham āsīt
gṛham gatvā mātaram rodamānaḥ
papraccha idam kva nu tātaḥ mama iti

17. Whatever harsh words had been spoken by him remained in his heart at that time, and he felt great sorrow. Having gone home, he tearfully asked his mother, "Where indeed is my father?"
