लोमश उवाच ।
यः कथ्यते मन्त्रविदग्र्यबुद्धिरौद्दालकिः श्वेतकेतुः पृथिव्याम् ।
तस्याश्रमं पश्य नरेन्द्र पुण्यं सदाफलैरुपपन्नं महीजैः ॥१॥

Lomasha said, "O King, behold the sacred hermitage (āśrama) of Śvetaketu, son of Uddalaka, who is known on earth as having an intellect foremost among those who understand sacred texts (mantra). His hermitage (āśrama) is always abundant with fruits from the trees."
