महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-128, verse-7

जन्तुर्ज्येष्ठः समभवज्जनित्र्यामेव भारत ।
स तासामिष्ट एवासीन्न तथान्ये निजाः सुताः ॥७॥
7. janturjyeṣṭhaḥ samabhavajjanitryāmeva bhārata ,
sa tāsāmiṣṭa evāsīnna tathānye nijāḥ sutāḥ.
7. jantuḥ jyeṣṭhaḥ samabhavat janitryām eva bhārata
saḥ tāsām iṣṭaḥ eva āsīt na tathā anye nijāḥ sutāḥ
7. Jantu, the eldest (son), was born from just one mother, O descendant of Bharata. He was indeed beloved by all of them (the wives), but his other sons were not similarly (beloved).
