महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-103, verse-6

संपूज्यमानस्त्रिदशैर्महात्मा गन्धर्वतूर्येषु नदत्सु सर्वशः ।
दिव्यैश्च पुष्पैरवकीर्यमाणो महार्णवं निःसलिलं चकार ॥६॥
6. saṁpūjyamānastridaśairmahātmā; gandharvatūryeṣu nadatsu sarvaśaḥ ,
divyaiśca puṣpairavakīryamāṇo; mahārṇavaṁ niḥsalilaṁ cakāra.
6. saṃpūjyamānaḥ tridaśaiḥ mahātmā
gandharvatūryeṣu nadatsu sarvaśaḥ
divyaiḥ ca puṣpaiḥ avakīryamāṇaḥ
mahārṇavam niḥsalilam cakāra
6. While Gandharva instruments resounded everywhere, and being showered with divine flowers, the great-souled one (mahātmā), who was being profoundly worshipped by the gods (tridaśa), rendered the vast ocean waterless.
