महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-32, verse-17

इडाज्यहोमाहुतिभिर्मन्त्रशिक्षासमन्वितैः ।
तस्मिन्हि ततृपुर्देवास्तते यज्ञे महर्षिभिः ॥१७॥
17. iḍājyahomāhutibhirmantraśikṣāsamanvitaiḥ ,
tasminhi tatṛpurdevāstate yajñe maharṣibhiḥ.

17. Indeed, in that extensive Vedic ritual (yajña), the gods were satisfied by the offerings of melted butter (ājyahomāhutibhiḥ), accompanied by the study of sacred formulas (mantraśikṣā), and by the great sages.
