महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-10, verse-22

मांसमेदोवसाहारैरुग्रश्रवणदर्शनैः ।
नानाप्रहरणैर्घोरैर्वातैरिव महाजवैः ।
वृतः सखायमन्वास्ते सदैव धनदं नृप ॥२२॥
22. māṁsamedovasāhārairugraśravaṇadarśanaiḥ ,
nānāpraharaṇairghorairvātairiva mahājavaiḥ ,
vṛtaḥ sakhāyamanvāste sadaiva dhanadaṁ nṛpa.
22. māṃsamedovasāhāraiḥ ugraśravaṇadarśanaiḥ
nānāpraharaṇaiḥ ghoraiḥ
vātaiḥ iva mahājavaiḥ vṛtaḥ
sakhāyam anvāste sadaiva dhanadam nṛpa
22. O king, surrounded by formidable beings whose diet consists of flesh, fat, and marrow, whose hearing and sight are dreadful, who wield various weapons, and who are as swift as mighty winds, he (Shiva) always sits near his friend Kubera, the giver of wealth.
