महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-10, verse-20

भगवान्भूतसंघैश्च वृतः शतसहस्रशः ।
उमापतिः पशुपतिः शूलधृग्भगनेत्रहा ॥२०॥
20. bhagavānbhūtasaṁghaiśca vṛtaḥ śatasahasraśaḥ ,
umāpatiḥ paśupatiḥ śūladhṛgbhaganetrahā.

20. The revered Lord, the husband of Umā (Umāpati), the Lord of beings (Paśupati), the trident-bearer, and the destroyer of Bhaga's eye, was surrounded by hundreds of thousands of hosts of spirits (bhūta).
