महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-2, verse-10

समुद्रं यास्यति श्रीमांस्त्यक्त्वा देहं हलायुधः ।
जरा कृष्णं महात्मानं शयानं भुवि भेत्स्यति ॥१०॥
10. samudraṁ yāsyati śrīmāṁstyaktvā dehaṁ halāyudhaḥ ,
jarā kṛṣṇaṁ mahātmānaṁ śayānaṁ bhuvi bhetsyati.
10. samudram yāsyati śrīmān tyaktvā deham halāyudhaḥ
jarā kṛṣṇam mahātmānam śayānam bhuvi bhetsyati
10. The glorious Halāyudha (Balarāma), abandoning his body, will merge into the ocean. Old age will overcome Kṛṣṇa, the great (ātman), as he lies on the earth.
