महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-46, verse-18

सहदेवः प्रियस्तस्याः पुत्रेभ्योऽधिक एव तु ।
न चैनां मोक्षयामास वीरो माद्रवतीसुतः ॥१८॥
18. sahadevaḥ priyastasyāḥ putrebhyo'dhika eva tu ,
na caināṁ mokṣayāmāsa vīro mādravatīsutaḥ.
18. sahadevaḥ priyaḥ tasyāḥ putrebhyaḥ adhikaḥ eva
tu na ca enām mokṣayāmāsa vīraḥ mādravatīsutaḥ
18. tu tasyāḥ priyaḥ sahadevaḥ putrebhyaḥ eva adhikaḥ
ca vīraḥ mādravatīsutaḥ enām na mokṣayāmāsa
18. But her beloved Sahadeva was indeed dearer than (her other) sons. Yet, the heroic son of Mādravatī (Sahadeva) was unable to save her.
