महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-22, verse-12

श्रुत्वा तु वचनं तस्याः स विप्रः प्राञ्जलिः स्थितः ।
अनुज्ञातस्तया चापि स्वगृहं पुनराव्रजत् ॥१२॥
12. śrutvā tu vacanaṁ tasyāḥ sa vipraḥ prāñjaliḥ sthitaḥ ,
anujñātastayā cāpi svagṛhaṁ punarāvrajat.

12. Having heard her words, that brahmin stood with folded hands. After being granted permission by her, he then returned to his own home.
