अकरोत्तात वैषम्यं यस्मिन्यदनुपश्यति ॥६॥

O dear one (tāta), the Creator of beings (bhūtakṛt) indeed made just five great elements (mahābhūtas) present in all beings. He introduced an inequality (vaiṣamyam) among them, corresponding to whatever one perceives in each.
