महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-156, verse-20

सर्वथा क्षमिणा भाव्यं तथा सत्यपरेण च ।
वीतहर्षभयक्रोधो धृतिमाप्नोति पण्डितः ॥२०॥

20. One should always be forgiving and similarly committed to truth. A wise person who has abandoned joy, fear, and anger attains true steadfastness.
