महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-156, verse-14

अक्षमायाः क्षमायाश्च प्रियाणीहाप्रियाणि च ।
क्षमते सर्वतः साधुः साध्वाप्नोति च सत्यवान् ॥१४॥
14. akṣamāyāḥ kṣamāyāśca priyāṇīhāpriyāṇi ca ,
kṣamate sarvataḥ sādhuḥ sādhvāpnoti ca satyavān.

14. A virtuous person (sādhu) tolerates both pleasant and unpleasant things, whether originating from impatience or from patience (kṣamā). And a truthful person (satyavān) thereby achieves what is good.
