महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-7, verse-4

एवं संसारपर्याये गर्भवासेषु भारत ।
कुर्वन्ति दुर्बुधा वासं मुच्यन्ते तत्र पण्डिताः ॥४॥

4. O Bhārata, in this cycle of transmigration (saṃsāra) and dwelling in wombs, the foolish remain entangled, while the wise are liberated from it.
