महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-52, verse-1

शौनक उवाच ।
ये सर्पाः सर्पसत्रेऽस्मिन्पतिता हव्यवाहने ।
तेषां नामानि सर्वेषां श्रोतुमिच्छामि सूतज ॥१॥
1. śaunaka uvāca ,
ye sarpāḥ sarpasatre'sminpatitā havyavāhane ,
teṣāṁ nāmāni sarveṣāṁ śrotumicchāmi sūtaja.
1. śaunakaḥ uvāca | ye sarpāḥ sarpasatre asmin patitāḥ
havyavāhane | teṣām nāmāni sarveṣām śrotum icchāmi sūtaja
1. Śaunaka said: "O son of Sūta, I wish to hear the names of all those snakes who fell into the fire during this snake sacrifice."
