महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-34, verse-6

देवानां पन्नगश्रेष्ठास्तीक्ष्णास्तीक्ष्णा इति प्रभो ।
पितामहमुपागम्य दुःखार्तानां महाद्युते ॥६॥
6. devānāṁ pannagaśreṣṭhāstīkṣṇāstīkṣṇā iti prabho ,
pitāmahamupāgamya duḥkhārtānāṁ mahādyute.
6. devānām pannagaśreṣṭhāḥ tīkṣṇāḥ tīkṣṇāḥ iti
prabho pitāmaham upāgamya duḥkhārtānām mahādyute
6. O best of serpents, O lord of great splendor, (I heard that) the sorrow-afflicted gods approached Grandfather (Brahmā) saying, 'How harsh! How harsh!'
