महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-34, verse-1

सूत उवाच ।
श्रुत्वा तु वचनं तेषां सर्वेषामिति चेति च ।
वासुकेश्च वचः श्रुत्वा एलापत्रोऽब्रवीदिदम् ॥१॥
1. sūta uvāca ,
śrutvā tu vacanaṁ teṣāṁ sarveṣāmiti ceti ca ,
vāsukeśca vacaḥ śrutvā elāpatro'bravīdidam.
1. sūta uvāca śrutvā tu vacanam teṣām sarveṣām iti ca
iti ca vāsukeḥ ca vacaḥ śrutvā elāpatraḥ abravīt idam
1. Sūta said: Having listened to the statements of all of them, which were 'this and that', and also having heard Vāsuki's words, Elāpatra then spoke this.
