महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-34, verse-15

ब्रह्मोवाच ।
सनामायां सनामा स कन्यायां द्विजसत्तमः ।
अपत्यं वीर्यवान्देवा वीर्यवज्जनयिष्यति ॥१५॥
15. brahmovāca ,
sanāmāyāṁ sanāmā sa kanyāyāṁ dvijasattamaḥ ,
apatyaṁ vīryavāndevā vīryavajjanayiṣyati.
15. brahmā uvāca sa-nāmāyām sa-nāmā saḥ kanyāyām
dvija-sattamaḥ apatyam vīryavān devāḥ vīryavat janayiṣyati
15. Brahmā said: "O gods, that powerful sage, the best among twice-born ones, who shares his name, will beget a powerful offspring in a maiden who also bears the same name."
