महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-225, verse-18

एवं तौ समनुज्ञातौ पावकेन महात्मना ।
अर्जुनो वासुदेवश्च दानवश्च मयस्तथा ॥१८॥
18. evaṁ tau samanujñātau pāvakena mahātmanā ,
arjuno vāsudevaśca dānavaśca mayastathā.

arjunaḥ vāsudevaḥ ca dānavaḥ ca mayaḥ tathā
18. Thus, those two, Arjuna and Vāsudeva, along with the Dānava Maya, were granted permission by the great-souled Fire (pāvaka).
