महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-225, verse-13

वासुदेवोऽपि जग्राह प्रीतिं पार्थेन शाश्वतीम् ।
ददौ च तस्मै देवेन्द्रस्तं वरं प्रीतिमांस्तदा ॥१३॥
13. vāsudevo'pi jagrāha prītiṁ pārthena śāśvatīm ,
dadau ca tasmai devendrastaṁ varaṁ prītimāṁstadā.
13. vāsudevaḥ api jagrāha prītim pārthena śāśvatīm
dadau ca tasmai devendraḥ tam varam prītimān tadā
13. Vāsudeva (Krishna) also accepted an everlasting affection from Pārtha (Arjuna). And the lord of the gods (Indra), being pleased, then bestowed that boon upon him.
