महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-222, verse-3

संशयो ह्यग्निरागच्छेद्दृष्टं वायोर्निवर्तनम् ।
मृत्युर्नो बिलवासिभ्यो भवेन्मातरसंशयम् ॥३॥
3. saṁśayo hyagnirāgaccheddṛṣṭaṁ vāyornivartanam ,
mṛtyurno bilavāsibhyo bhavenmātarasaṁśayam.
3. saṃśayaḥ hi agniḥ āgacchet dṛṣṭam vāyoḥ nivartanam
| mṛtyuḥ naḥ bilavāsibhyaḥ bhavet mātara asaṃśayam
3. Indeed, it is uncertain if fire might come, or if a change in the wind is observed. O mother, death will undoubtedly come to us who live in these holes.
