महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-222, verse-2

शार्ङ्गका ऊचुः ।
न हृतं तं वयं विद्मः श्येनेनाखुं कथंचन ।
अन्येऽपि भवितारोऽत्र तेभ्योऽपि भयमेव नः ॥२॥
2. śārṅgakā ūcuḥ ,
na hṛtaṁ taṁ vayaṁ vidmaḥ śyenenākhuṁ kathaṁcana ,
anye'pi bhavitāro'tra tebhyo'pi bhayameva naḥ.

vayam vidmaḥ śyenena ākhum
kathañcana | anye api bhavitāraḥ
atra tebhyaḥ api bhayam eva naḥ
2. The Śārṅgaka birds said, "We do not know in any way that the mouse was carried away by the hawk. Other dangers will also be here, and from them too, we certainly have fear."
