महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-217, verse-10

शरीरैः संप्रदीप्तैश्च देहवन्त इवाग्नयः ।
अदृश्यन्त वने तस्मिन्प्राणिनः प्राणसंक्षये ॥१०॥
10. śarīraiḥ saṁpradīptaiśca dehavanta ivāgnayaḥ ,
adṛśyanta vane tasminprāṇinaḥ prāṇasaṁkṣaye.

adṛśyanta vane tasmin prāṇinaḥ prāṇasaṃkṣaye
10. In that forest, at the time of their demise, the creatures were seen with their bodies brightly burning, resembling embodied fires.
