महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-215, verse-9

स मां प्रज्वलितं दृष्ट्वा मेघाम्भोभिः प्रवर्षति ।
ततो दग्धुं न शक्नोमि दिधक्षुर्दावमीप्सितम् ॥९॥
9. sa māṁ prajvalitaṁ dṛṣṭvā meghāmbhobhiḥ pravarṣati ,
tato dagdhuṁ na śaknomi didhakṣurdāvamīpsitam.
9. sa mām prajvalitam dṛṣṭvā meghāmbhobhiḥ pravarṣati
tataḥ dagdhum na śaknomi didhakṣuḥ dāvam īpsitam
9. When he (Indra) sees me ablaze, he pours down with cloud-waters. Therefore, even though I desire to burn this intended forest, I am unable to consume it.
