महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-162, verse-1

गन्धर्व उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वा ततस्तूर्णं जगामोर्ध्वमनिन्दिता ।
स तु राजा पुनर्भूमौ तत्रैव निपपात ह ॥१॥
1. gandharva uvāca ,
evamuktvā tatastūrṇaṁ jagāmordhvamaninditā ,
sa tu rājā punarbhūmau tatraiva nipapāta ha.
1. gandharvaḥ uvāca evam uktvā tataḥ tūrṇam jagāma ūrdhvam
aninditā sa tu rājā punaḥ bhūmau tatra eva nipapāta ha
1. The Gandharva said: Having spoken thus, the blameless maiden then quickly ascended. But that king, on the other hand, again fell down right there on the ground.
