महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-104, verse-13

गूहमानापचारं तं बन्धुपक्षभयात्तदा ।
उत्ससर्ज जले कुन्ती तं कुमारं सलक्षणम् ॥१३॥
13. gūhamānāpacāraṁ taṁ bandhupakṣabhayāttadā ,
utsasarja jale kuntī taṁ kumāraṁ salakṣaṇam.

13. Then, out of fear of her family, Kunti, concealing that misdeed, abandoned that infant, who possessed auspicious marks, in the water.
