दुर्गा-सप्तशती       durgā-saptaśatī - chapter-11, verse-6

एते त्रिधा भविष्यन्ति सर्वे द्वादशका गणाः ।
तेषामिन्द्रो भविष्यस्तु सहस्राक्षो महाबलः ॥६॥
6. ete tridhā bhaviṣyanti sarve dvādaśakā gaṇāḥ .
teṣāmindro bhaviṣyastu sahasrākṣo mahābalaḥ.
6. ete tridhā bhaviṣyanti sarve dvādaśakāḥ gaṇāḥ
teṣām indraḥ bhaviṣyaḥ tu sahasrākṣaḥ mahābalaḥ
6. All these groups, each consisting of twelve (deities), will be of three kinds. Among them, the greatly powerful and thousand-eyed Indra will be the chief.
