वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-97, verse-9

तच्छ्रुत्वा भरतेनोक्तं दृष्ट्वा चापि ह्यधो मुखान् ।
पौरान्दुःखेन संतप्तान् वसिष्ठो वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥९॥
9. tacchrutvā bharatenoktaṃ dṛṣṭvā cāpi hyadho mukhān ,
paurānduḥkhena saṃtaptān vasiṣṭho vākyamabravīt.
9. tat śrutvā bharatena uktam dṛṣṭvā ca api hi adho mukhān
paurān duḥkhena saṃtaptān vasiṣṭhaḥ vākyam abravīt
