वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-40, verse-14

अनामयाच्च मर्त्यानां साग्रो मासो गतो ह्ययम् ।
जीर्णानामपि सत्त्वानां मृत्युर्नायाति राघव ॥१४॥
14. anāmayācca martyānāṃ sāgro māso gato hyayam ,
jīrṇānāmapi sattvānāṃ mṛtyurnāyāti rāghava.
14. anāmayāt ca martyānām sāgraḥ māsaḥ gataḥ hi ayam
jīrṇānām api sattvānām mṛtyuḥ na āyāti rāghava
14. rāghava ayam sāgraḥ māsaḥ martyānām anāmayāt
gataḥ hi jīrṇānām api sattvānām mṛtyuḥ na āyāti
14. O Rāghava, this entire month has passed for mortals without any illness. Even for the aged beings, death does not arrive.
