वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-4, verse-11

महागजैश्चापि तथा नदद्भिः सूपूजितैश्चापि तथा सुसद्भिः ।
रराज वीरैश्च विनिःश्वसद्भिर्ह्रदो भुजङ्गैरिव निःश्वसद्भिः ॥११॥
11. mahāgajaiścāpi tathā nadadbhiḥ sūpūjitaiścāpi tathā susadbhiḥ ,
rarāja vīraiśca viniḥśvasadbhirhrado bhujaṅgairiva niḥśvasadbhiḥ.
11. mahāgajaiḥ ca api tathā nadadbhiḥ
sūpūjitaiḥ ca api tathā susadbhiḥ
rarāja vīraiḥ ca viniḥśvasadbhiḥ
hradaḥ bhujaṅgaiḥ iva niḥśvasadbhiḥ
11. tat rarāja mahāgajaiḥ nadadbhiḥ ca api tathā sūpūjitaiḥ susadbhiḥ ca api tathā vīraiḥ viniḥśvasadbhiḥ ca,
iva hradaḥ bhujaṅgaiḥ niḥśvasadbhiḥ
11. It shone splendidly, adorned by great, roaring elephants and by highly respected, noble persons. It was magnificent with heroes sighing deeply, just like a lake with hissing snakes.
