वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-20, verse-15

बुद्ध्याहमनुपश्यामि न त्वं रामस्य संयुगे ।
स्थातुं प्रतिमुखे शक्तः सचापस्य महारणे ॥१५॥
15. buddhyāhamanupaśyāmi na tvaṃ rāmasya saṃyuge ,
sthātuṃ pratimukhe śaktaḥ sacāpasya mahāraṇe.
15. buddhyā aham anupaśyāmi na tvam rāmasya saṃyuge
sthātum pratimukhe śaktaḥ sa-cāpasya mahā-raṇe
15. aham buddhyā anupaśyāmi (yat) tvam saṃyuge mahā-raṇe sa-cāpasya rāmasya pratimukhe sthātum na śaktaḥ (asi).
15. By my intelligence (buddhi), I perceive that you are not capable of standing face-to-face in battle, in a great war, with Rāma who wields a bow.
