वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-99, verse-7

तेन पित्राहमप्यत्र नियुक्तः पुरुषर्षभ ।
चतुर्दश वने वासं वर्षाणि वरदानिकम् ॥७॥
7. tena pitrāhamapyatra niyuktaḥ puruṣarṣabha ,
caturdaśa vane vāsaṃ varṣāṇi varadānikam.
7. tena pitrā aham api atra niyuktaḥ puruṣarṣabha
caturdaśa vane vāsam varṣāṇi varadānikam
7. puruṣarṣabha tena pitrā aham api atra caturdaśa
varṣāṇi varadānikam vane vāsam niyuktaḥ
7. O best among men (puruṣarṣabha), I was also appointed here by that father to dwell in the forest for fourteen years, as a consequence of the boon.
