वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-79, verse-4

कतरेण गमिष्यामि भरद्वाजाश्रमं गुह ।
गहनो ऽयं भृशं देशो गङ्गानूपो दुरत्ययः ॥४॥
4. katareṇa gamiṣyāmi bharadvājāśramaṃ guha ,
gahano'yaṃ bhṛśaṃ deśo gaṅgānūpo duratyayaḥ.

4. O Guha, by which path shall I go to the hermitage (āśrama) of Bharadvāja? This region, the marshy land (anūpa) of the Gaṅgā, is exceedingly dense and impassable.
